1. Hereby：特此、兹、据此

hereby 相当于 by this，表示通过本文件、声明或当前行为正式作出某项决定、承诺或授权。

hereafter 主要强调时间上的“以后”，与 heretofore 相对应。

需要注意的是，法律文件中的“以下简称……”通常使用 hereinafter，而不是 hereafter：

4. Heretofore：此前、迄今为止
